About and how we check
This site answers one question before you spend thousands on a sauna or cold plunge: will it work in your house? We don't test products, and we won't say we do. Everything here comes from what each company publishes about its own products.
Where the numbers come from
For each model we read the product page, spec sheet and owner's manual, and write down each number with a link to the exact page or file. On November 1, 2026 we checked 20 models and found 190 of the 264 details we looked for. The rest say "Not listed."
When a company's pages disagree
Sometimes a product page says one thing and the manual another. We show both, marked in red, with a link to each. We don't pick one for you.
Safety certifications
We only call a model certified (UL, ETL or CSA) when we can link the certificate or the official listing. If a company says it's certified but doesn't post the proof, we say exactly that.
Recalls
Recalls come from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's public database, in the agency's own words, with a link to each notice.
What we don't do
We don't give wiring instructions. A licensed electrician must confirm what your home needs. We don't make health claims. No company can pay to change what we list.
Found a mistake?
Tell us. We check it against the company's own page and fix it.
